Eric M. Gehr formed Gehr Innovation Company in January 1997. Gehr Innovation Company, or GEHRIC, aims to help small- to medium-size businesses solve problems by applying the appropriate computer technology. This means using the right kind of technology as well as the right amount of technology: businesses don't want elaborate, expensive solutions to simple problems. If GEHRIC cannot provide an appropriate solution, we will refer you to another provider.

Before starting Gehr Innovation Company, Eric earned a mechanical engineering degree from Penn State, and he then worked six years as an project engineer for Armstrong World Industries, headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He spent his first two years working in Armstrong's Central Engineering office, and then in 1992 he became the mechanical Plant Project Engineer at Armstrong's Stillwater, Oklahoma plant.

Although he did some programming in college, Eric's interest in computers and networking grew as he saw how they were used to complete engineering projects. In his spare time he began formal studies to learn about them in greater detail. After seeing version 4.0 of Windows NT in the fall of 1996, Eric decided to form a new business helping companies install and maintain Windows networks.

Pat Reaves joined GEHRIC in August 2000.  Pat is a Microsoft-Certified Systems Engineer and a Microsoft-Certified Trainer, she is A+ certified, and she is also a Certified NetWare Administrator for NetWare 3 and NetWare 4.  In addition to her work with GEHRIC, Pat teaches networking and Microsoft courses as an Instructor for the Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City.

Over the last several years Pat has served as an Information Systems Specialist for Central Oklahoma Integrated Network System and as an Analyst for the Oklahoma State University Department of Sociology's Case Management Information Systems Project.  She brings a wide range of experiences that serve GEHRIC's clients well.

GEHRIC has helped customers in a variety of ways, from resolving problems with network communications to answering licensing questions, from work on multi-server networks to work on stand-alone computers. To see some of the clients GEHRIC has helped, please refer to our client list.

GEHRIC maintains a Windows 2003 Small Business Server in our office. Besides using this network for the usual office functions, we use it to test software and solutions before implementation. Planning and simulations using GEHRIC's network allow us to install solutions quickly and easily with minimal problems.

If you would like more information about GEHRIC, or if you would like to discuss a project we could do for your business, please contact us.
